We’ve had an incredible couple of days here in London.  We’re so fortunate to have been able to make the trip, and to have been put in touch with such wonderful people.  (Thanks to Maria Lindberg, who we wish could’ve also made the trip).

We’ve spent the last couple of days with Barbara who has introduced us to her circle of Diana friends.  We’ve spent time at the gates of Kensington Palace, the Diana Cafe, and watched the memorial service on the tellie at their hotel across the street.

Tomorrow, we pay a visit to Margaret (known as the “loyal royalist”) at her B&B which is said to be the largest Diana memorabilia collection in the world.  We spent time with Margaret today at the gates and learned that she is quite recognized by the public here for her numerous television appearances.

We also met Colin Edwards, a royalist who shared his stories and photographs that he took of Princess Diana throughout the years.

Yes, thanks to donated frequent flyer miles and very gracious family in the UK, we are on our way to Princess Diana’s 10th anniversary. But first, we get to pack.

Took a few videos on my digital still cam during Elvis Week. Here’s Jerry setting up for the 30th candlelight vigil August 15, 2007, Graceland, Memphis, TN. Her tributes get more and more impressive each year.

As she set up, she quickly became surrounded by photographers and the media.

Interviewed the lawyer representing Boulevard Souvenirs in an anti-trust suit against Elvis Presley Enterprises last night.   He took the case because “it’s David vs Goliath.”

Went to lunch at the Young Avenue Deli in Cooper Young District, and discovered a free wi-fi connection. While we were waiting on our food, had time to upload some quick pictures:

Just visited Piano Flowers on Elvis Presley Boulevard where Elvis fans get their floral tributes made.  We interviewed flower arranger David as he prepared Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley’s tributes.  It’s amazing what he can do with flowers.
